Our Coalition Members
The Community Action & Social Justice Coalition (CASJ)
CASJ is seeking to build a vibrant, interconnected, active community of organizations and individuals diverse in background and mission. The CASJ Coalition is composed of progressive organizations on campus that come together to collaborate and provide support. The CASJ Collective facilitates these cross-issue relationships, holds trainings and events, and provides resources to coalition groups. The CASJ office is located in the basement of Kay Spiritual Life Center, and can be contacted at [email protected].

We are committed to fight against climate change. All actions are aimed to incorporate social justice issues as well to create a just and liveable future for all. Our meetings are held weekly (during term) at 8:00pm on Thursdays in MGC 247.
AU Student Worker Alliance
The Student Worker Alliance is the student-labor solidarity group on campus. We work with the shuttle bus drivers, janitorial staff, food service workers, adjunct professors and other staff members. We also act in solidarity with the workers who produce the apparel that we sell in the university bookstore. We believe that we have an inherent power as tuition-paying students of a private university, and that we can use this power to make a positive change in the way our economic system works.
